Great video, and very insightful. I have one question and one humble request:
Q: Instead of #7 being amber, what do you think of the warm stone being Amber’s younger brother – Copal? Copal seems warmer/lighter to me and is made of the same organic material just not 10 million years old. Any feedback, pro or con?
Humble Request: As Rev 21 describes the 12 layers, could you please create a video talking thru each of the Revelation stones in a similar fashion? Are all of the same stones used only in different positions?
Again, wonderful video and delivery! Thank you for posting!

Pakistan is known for its aquamarine and I could imagine even in ancient times there being trade routes that would result in Pakistani Aquamarine ending up in Israel

Tarsus is an ancient city in modern dsy turkey. Tarsals are tips, feathers.

What an amazing journey! I really appreciate the crossover of geology and historical documents. It’s challenging to translate the names of the gems and I think you did a great job!

  15. @Jerry-pi1wl on January 18, 2024 at 8:15 pm

The stones represent names, with meanings, conveying the Gospel. Men in their wisdom have become fools. Remember the appearance of the one upon the throne? The rainbow around the throne? Here is the interpretation by the Spirit of God and the Holy Scriptures, may the Lord give you understanding.

The Jasper is the last stone on the breastplate of judgment. The Sardine is the first. The Emerald is the fourth. Each represents a name and meaning. Jasper is Benjamin, son of the right hand. Sardine is Reuben, to behold. He is the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, and many that be first shall be last, and last first. There is a rainbow of praise (Emerald, Judah, meaning praise) around the throne, meaning the manifold things to praise him for in all of his covenants. The Son of man, the Lord, is seated on his throne, beholding all the sons of men. Behold, the Son of God, the LORD, seated upon his throne and worship thou him. Blessed are the pure in heart.

  20. @cholm2070 on January 18, 2024 at 8:17 pm

This is the first advertisement on YouTube that I didn’t instantly try to skip through. This was interesting! I wish YouTube pushed content like this more often.

  21. @breakeverychain7 on January 18, 2024 at 8:17 pm

Breast plates or Birth stone, amethyst never gets mixed up

  22. @breakeverychain7 on January 18, 2024 at 8:22 pm

Transmits light and is green? Jade moves light to the sides as part of its fiber optic type effect. Light abrading is possible not carving thou

  23. @tovaleh2626 on January 18, 2024 at 8:24 pm

I was pleasantly surprised about y’alls Hebrew. Your pronunciations weren’t too bad. It was nice to see some Jewish sources included, too.

  24. @OldOneTooth on January 18, 2024 at 8:24 pm

Dogs pee on trees, amber is sap that runs down trees.

  25. @user-kf5tq7cu2s on January 18, 2024 at 8:24 pm

I very much like the incorporation of the history of the gemstones. Please continue this ! Thank you for a fascinating show.

  26. @tott3457 on January 18, 2024 at 8:25 pm

That was so amazing! Thank you for sharing. I think your research was pretty thorough! Would love to know what a biblical scholar would think of your research!!!

NOFEKAH could be MOLDAVITE which came from the sky…❤

  28. @markriche1594 on January 18, 2024 at 8:27 pm

Sphene is a yellow green and soft

  29. @katrinasamson8593 on January 18, 2024 at 8:29 pm

Enjoyed the biblical history lesson. God created all things and these are so many beautiful specimens.

  30. @melodyhart2017 on January 18, 2024 at 8:31 pm

Pink or red tourmaline would also attract particles as it does attract lint and dust .

  31. @newjezreel on January 18, 2024 at 8:31 pm

I need to correct you on what language Revelation and all the gospels and epistles were written in, was Hebrew. with Luke and Acts possible a exception. as for your placement of the stones, I believe, Right on. There are manuscripts in hebrew that date earlier than the greek ones.

  32. @poshmartine on January 18, 2024 at 8:32 pm

This is one of my favorite videos you’ve done so far! It’s totally fascinating and I’d love to see more videos like this. Also, I’d really love a video about the gemstones featured in the pop-culture phenomenon Resident Evil 4. The original game got me into collecting gems and mineral specimens, and the remake has even more to offer in that respect. Hopefully someone is a gamer over there! In any case, thank you for all the information.

  33. @Mr.T105 on January 18, 2024 at 8:32 pm

    Nice work!

  34. @Jed12783 on January 18, 2024 at 8:32 pm

As a Christian boy in a Christian family my dads favorite gem is Lapis. I even have a few specimens of Lapis

  35. @chrisbgifford7387 on January 18, 2024 at 8:38 pm

I enjoyed this video. I guess we have to go with what we got , but do not limit God after all he created it all and if he wants to engrave a diamond, it happened!

  36. @francesca3453 on January 18, 2024 at 8:47 pm

The breastplate was used for Divining purposes

The tribes that needed a decision would consult the breastplate for its glimmer to answer the question. Lol. Very pagan.

  37. @KrosanBeast315 on January 18, 2024 at 8:49 pm

15:13 That is Black Chalcedony. For it be labelled Onyx, it MUST display visible Banding. That Stone doesn’t.

  38. @jekasolomon on January 18, 2024 at 8:50 pm

Thanks for tackling this complex topic.

  39. @ediatmelb on January 18, 2024 at 8:50 pm

I love all the stones esp Lapis. I appreciate the time and consideration you went to research about this. Based on the availability and description I think this list will be more believable.

  40. @dalebeall4941 on January 18, 2024 at 8:51 pm

why do the names of gems get displayed so short of time?? I am trying to write down which gems are talked about in video. how could I get a transcript for each video? Close caption does not correctly spell the gem names. I am a slow reader. I am trying to cross ref which gem is talked about in which video.

  41. @davidariamirroarkyoung on January 18, 2024 at 8:51 pm

As a graduate of gemology and someone who has studied Judaism Hebrew Arabic Latin Greek Roman history since I was three years old I think you hit it perfectly
