Ilmu Untuk Anak Bangsa (Knowledge For Child’s Nation)

Papua is one of the most promising destination for tourism in Indonesia for its beauty and potentials. However, the inadequacy of capable human resources has left these potentials high and dry; waiting to be harnessed. Ilmu Untuk Anak Bangsa (IUAB) is a program designed to improve Papuan’s well-being and Papua’s tourism by teaching Bahasa and English to the local children ranging from five to twelve years old (with and without an education background).

Speaker profile:
Clara Jeanifer is currently pursuing her bachelor in Biomedicine majoring in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Melbourne after finishing July fast-track program at Trinity College, Parkville. Clara had worked in numerous institutions, among others, assistant to doctor in Mitra Kesehatan Hospital, Indonesia and volunteered in National Cancer Organisation, Carlton. Clara also actively involved in organizational activities where she currently serves as Vice External in Indonesian Student Association in Australia – Victoria (PPIA -Victoria)
