Why Pink Laptops Are Becoming So Popular

Who would ever think the day would come when pink laptops would gain so much public popularity? I would be willing to bet that even if you are a female that you’d never think you would want to own one of these. The truth is that pink makes such a bold statement among women, and maybe even some men. Personally being a male I still wouldn’t be caught dead with a pink laptop, but the truth is there are so many people out there that have these and this subject just can’t be ignored any longer. People that use these obviously aren’t afraid to make a bold statement to the world.So are you one of these pink laptop lovers? In fact I couldn’t believe it when I did some research and found out that pink is one of the most marketed laptop computers in circulation today. And there’s no brakes being put on this popularity and probably won’t be anytime soon. If you don’t believe me to go any popular Starbucks and just look around. When I visited the one in Oceanside after finding this out I noticed two of them. Needless to say I couldn’t believe what my eyes saw. Computer manufacturers are realizing that they need to customize the computers they sell to match our personalities.In fact you can also find an increasing number of pink cell phones, cell phone covers, ipods and color enhanced docking stations. Pink is usually characterized as fun and has a reputation among the public for being classy and maybe even ornary. Sony, Dell, Acer and Asus are just a few of the companies I could think of off the top of my head that produce these. I’m sure someday soon I’m going to walk into one of my graduate classes and seeing my instructor using one. It’s a new era out there these days and people aren’t hiding behind black techno looking gadgets anymore. Pink gadgets are a strong symbol by there users that these gadgets are theirs and are a strong part of their life.For me I wouldn’t personally use a pink laptop since I’m a male and would like to keep my masculinity. And I’d feel real feminine walking around with one and would probably get laughed out of every Starbucks I tried to plug one into. But for females I think it’s a good way for them to make a statement to the world that yes, I’m part of the techno age and I’m proud of it. I’m a computer user for the long-term, and my pink laptop is proof because it fits my smug personality. You might or might not be the sharpest tool in the shed for carrying one of these around, but you will be the most noticed. But who knows, in a few years people might not give you a second look since every female might be doing it.
