I’ve heard this tune before but I can’t figure out where the melody is familiar with another song that’s more heavy ?.. the chorus is, kinda sounds like a rock song that goes “the body below “ or something like that . Does anyone else know what I’m talking about ?
I know a lot of people come back to listening to this for break-ups, girls, etc. For me, this song nails the feeling I had when I had a falling out with the singer in my own band (perhaps a break up of its own kind) … He treated me unfairly and to my shame I responded with aggression and we ended up yelling at each other, and now we haven’t talked in five months. I miss playing drums with that group of guys but my decision to quit still feels like the right thing, even if I didn’t go about it the right way. It doesn’t make it any easier. I would have preferred we stayed friends when I quit.
The good vibes won’t feel so consistent… ain’t that the truth. Ouch.

I’m struggling, I’m struggling to see any joy in my life.
I feel like I’m in a constant state of looking back at the past and seeing happiness, but when I look forward all I see is nothing but sadness.
Me and the girl who I fell in love with 2 years ago are struggling, I thought she was the one but now I don’t know, I don’t want to hurt her but I can’t live forever sacrificing my own happiness for her comfort.
I feel so selfish and feel so much guilt and its destroying me mentally not knowing what to do.
