I really liked this. A little history, geography, mythology, and a beautiful presentation of pieces made with coral. Thank you. Blessings.

Here in fla coral is bleaching and dying due to climate change, I think I would prefer to buy some of Fire Mountains beautiful selections of stones-semi precious and precious, since they are not important to habitat legal or not.

With the state of coral reefs around the world I don’t believe in taking it from the ocean and using it for anything

Most coral you can buy (afford) is dyed and stabilized . If you rub it with a q-tip dipped in nail polish remover and the color comes off on the cotton it is dyed. Fire Mountain will tell you what you are getting but many small dealers won’t.
