Some describe it as a modern love stone, but Sugilite has a lot more to offer as an amazing crystal with violet energy. This elegant crystal is pronounced by most people with a soft “g” like you would say in the word “ginger.” It was discovered by a Japanese petrologist in 1944 in Iwagi Islet, Japan. His name was Dr. Ken-ichi Sugi.
