Liu Hung Chieh Ba Gua

My most eminent teacher in China, Liu Hung Chieh, was a Lineage Master in the Internal martial arts of Ba Gua, Hsing-i and Tai chi, as well as the Water and Fire traditions of Taoist meditation. In addition, Liu was a master calligrapher and a classical Chinese scholar who also had a complete knowledge of traditional Chinese medical theory.
truly amazing
Extremely highly skilled and perfectly natural. Thank you
Maybe the only video. ?
wow great spiral energy reaching to both cosmic extremes.
Great. I enjoyed it
Eighth Palm Change
A great master at work
There is still a lot of qigong processes going on in his walking, its the other form of bagua walking. One of his legs had been badly frost bitten and he had gout in the hips, but he was still one of the greatest masters of his era.
oh my god what great energy he had thank you for sharing
Walking in the air
I just wonder, how old is he in the video? And how old is he now? Is he still alive?
I am reading "The Power of Internal Martial Arts and Chi" by Bruce Frantzis and was curious to see if any such films might exist. Thank you for posting this! Great book. Highly recommend it.
what technique or sequence is this?
So beautiful, so rare to see someone at the level, thank you for sharing.☯️
Are there any good instructional DVDs or books on Bagua circle walking?
Thank you for posting this video.
Thanks for posting. I noticed the stepping was really just normal walking. I thought the foot would be closer to the ground. Perhaps when you’re an Adept, it become less important??
Wow…one can just see the energy in Liu. So beautiful…and so flexible.
双龙绕柱 shuang long rao zhu
No unfortunately he is not. In this footage I believe he is in his eighties. I do not believe that there is footage of the art being done any better then this and sadly I do not think it will ever reach this level again. Rest in peace and thank you for your compassion to spread this priceless art.
