Real one is emitting light and glowing low, but glass fill ruby is reflecting light, hence stones doesn’t reflect light but observes it

I paid 200 bucks for a ring woth natural ruby and like 100 bucks for another, i messged the seller negire amd after about authenticity and they say it was natural , it looks natural to me since it has a lot of impurities and inclusions like ice frozen inside kinf of lime salt diamonds inside tone change from purplish to pinkish…i want to say theu are natural just mot as clear as other rubys , remember rhey select qualities and colors…as long as is natural who cares , natural is natural … Is like diamonds, the clearest the expensive it is and of it has carbon inclusions is cheaper etc etc

A blacklight is a dead giveaway. This video is sorta stupid.

  28. @charlessavoie2367 on January 27, 2024 at 9:25 pm

Place suspected lead glass filled ruby in shallow container, cover with straight lemon juice. Leave for 3 to 4 days. Take it out and rinse. If a spiderweb like network of fine white lines shows across the stone, it is lead glass filled.

I see Batman signal on my hand, is my ruby fake?

  30. @ahmedabdelaziz4355 on January 27, 2024 at 9:28 pm

What about blue sapphire? How do u know the real from the fake ?

  31. @faisalrazajaral5844 on January 27, 2024 at 9:31 pm

A very little difference. But the untreated and real one have little cracks and mostly pigeon blood color. Old Burmese rubies are best.

  32. @user-dq2oj6eo9x on January 27, 2024 at 9:34 pm

Отходы при добыче заливают стеклом и продают как рубины. Настоящих рубинов на рынке нет от слова совсем. И то и другое стекляшка. Первая просто стекляшка, вторая кусок растрескавшегося корунда в стекляшке

  33. @samratchakraborty5728 on January 27, 2024 at 9:36 pm

    foolish…..

  34. @sokphallyhul8442 on January 27, 2024 at 9:37 pm

    Thank you very much.

  35. @andarunstore on January 27, 2024 at 9:37 pm

I as a long-time player would argue, The way to determine such authenticity is not quite right. The truth is that we often hold the sight of the dream between the real and the fake stone at the same time. Because it will make us smarter and more sensitive

  36. @camargorafael420 on January 27, 2024 at 9:37 pm

    I didn’t see difference

  37. @unity2BC on January 27, 2024 at 9:38 pm

This is not helpful for people, there are so many different tones quality, clarity differences from one stone to another, these types of posts only make things more confused, bottom line is if you think you have a natural ruby or most other gemstones , arround 1ct or above get it Gia tested as the cost of the test will be much less than sale price increase for having a trusted certificate,if your not confident to add the $70 cost added to your purchase then you probably don’t have a genuine natural gemstone..
