Crystal Growing Coral Reef – TheSciBuddies

This exploriment is from one of o0ur Christmas presents. We observed a model of coral reefs through this crystal growing coral reef kit from Little Passports. The kit includes multi-colored coral forms, base trays, easy to follow instructions, and terraforming solutions. After we completed the set-up, it only took a few hours for the colorful coral reefs to form. We used a magnifying glass to take a closer look at the corals, then described its colors, shapes and different forms. It was fun and we enjoyed it!
