Crystal Growing Coral Reef contains three multi-colored coral forms, terraforming solution, three base trays, and instructions. In addition to the kit materials, you’ll need paper and scissors. To start, first find a good spot to grow the coral reef and place a sheet of paper under the base. The crystals are delicate, which will make it hard to move. The paper will help catch any falling crystals. Find a coral shape with the notch on the top slot and place securely in the base slot. Place the second coral piece with a slit on the bottom into the base reef. Bend the coral branches to fill the space. Use scissors to cut the terraforming solution and pour solution into the plastic base. The coral reef paper draws the solution up through all its parts, and in a few hours, the solution will evaporate and crystals will form. The color, shape, and speed of the terraforming will vary depending on the heat and humidity of your environment. From Copernicus Toys for ages 6 and up.
