COVID-19: How can the US contain the current rate of infection | COVID-19 Special
The number of daily COVID-19 cases across the United States has doubled in the last two weeks, reaching a six-month peak. Hospitals in at least 5 states say they’re strechted to capacity due to the highly transmissible Delta variant. The strain is rapidly spreading, mostly among the unvaccinated.
The University of Mississippi has even set up a field hospital in its parking garage. It’s reminiscent of earlier in the pandemic, when field hospitals were set up in New York. How can the US contain the current rate of infection?

I encourage all dRumpf supporters to refuse the vaccine and to gather in large groups sans masks and no social distancing. This is important for the future of our country.
Do you not understand that the vaccine does not stop the spread of the virus? Let’s start looking at the immunity of those that had the infection and didn’t get vaccinated. Data indicates that they are more protected than the vaccinated. Unfortunately these studies are being suppressed to help force people to get vaccinated, but are finally starting to surface. Another variant is going to further affect the vaccinated. More than now. You can’t nail down the effects of vaccination because you don’t understand that the vaccine is dampening the body’s natural immune systems and eventually the vaccinated won’t be able to fight the disease without another vaccination. Stop forcing these vaccines that are going to disable our immune systems, especially for healthy individuals that have strong immune systems to start with. Vaccinations should be for those most susceptible to COVID-19. It remains even with the delta variant that those with underlying conditions are the large majority of those sick and dying. We should be focusing on the cause of our underlying conditions for lasting control of this pandemic along with helping those with the underlying conditions to get vaccinated to protect themselves in the interim.
Here’s what we should be doing: Produce a highly accurate listing of underlying conditions associated with the population of COVID-19 sick and dead individuals. Provide that list of underlying conditions to the public to help them decide if the vaccination is right for them. Stop the push for everyone to get vaccinated. It’s not helping anyone other than the vulnerable person that gets the vaccine. The truth is a large majority of Americans are overweight, insulin resistant, and generally unhealthy and those people are the ones vulnerable to the adverse effects of the coronavirus.
The United States has ended since the greed of the American government sold its country to China.

I wish masks were at least mandated for schools. Children do not cover coughs. It makes zero sense that we are sending kids back completely unprotected.

Data on hospitalization from CDC USA UK and Isreal showing overall close to 50% or more were fully vaccinated … there are many immunocompromised and also for the many that need to address their modifiable risk factors to prevent severe outcomes. Nutrition, exercise, rest, stress, risk factors (pre-diabetic /diabetic glucose control, etc ) affects your proper functioning immune system. Vaccines have a challenge with variants and the additional responsibility to fortify the immune system is lost on many. Masks and vaccines alone are lines of defenses but the medical experts speak little to nothing about your own health, nutrition and,
immune system foundation you can fortify.
Even if herd immunity percentage goal is reached, the frequent popping of Covid-19 variants would not truly make EUA vaccines effective against all types of Covid-19 viruses. Just note how Israel which is the first country to have reached high numbers of vaccinated people and still is getting very high rate of Covid-19 cases per day relative to its population.
Perhaps a good analogy of the Covid-19 pandemic is like a fire burning several houses in the middle of a city that is nearby a river; and firetrucks have not yet been invented. As many people were getting water from the river at a distance the fire spread to many other houses, and the fire became hard to contain. Now, the mayor and other people of authority in the city agreed to instead let all the people splash buckets of water to the houses not yet on fire. What happens then is that the houses being burned were being neglected.
The houses burning may be like people who contracted Covid-19 who need cure while those houses not burning but being splashed with buckets of water may be like people who have not contracted Covid-19 and are being inoculated with vaccines.

The reason the south is having is surge is because it’s the summer and they always have a big surge during this time of year because everyone goes inside because it’s hot and humid.
Hawaii for example is also having a surge right now despite having a huge democrat base, strict Covid rules and lots of vaccinated population. Why? Because it’s hot!
If you look at Red States that are in the northwest you don’t see the massive surges like in Louisiana and Mississippi. Some have almost no Covid protection laws so it should be going nuts but it’s not.
During the fall and winter you’re going to see a big surge in the Northwest despite all the Covid protocols and high vac rates. Why? Because that’s Covid season for the northwest!

The infection rate isn’t unimportant. It’s the hospitalization and death rates that is important. People who get Covid-19 develop an immunity. People who get shots develop an immunity.

Between the covid cases and shots we should be close to herd immunity, but were not. Herd immunity is a myth. What we are finding out is how misinformed, out right lying, ignorant public officials around the world are in any kind of a problem.
