Today’s video I am excited to be diving into citrine crystal benefits with you! Citrine is one of my all time favorite crystals, ever since I discovered its metaphysical properties I had to get one and try out manifesting with citrine. Now something that is good to know is that citrine can be sold as heat treated citrine or natural citrine and I believe its good to know which citrine you are working with. In today’s video I will not only be talking about citrine crystal benefits but how to manifest with heat treated citrine and natural citrine and how to tell them apart. Some may be a little surprised at the comparison on heat treated citrine vs natural citrine but I am here to tell you it is 100% possible to reap the benefits of each variety of citrine! Thanks for explaining heat treated-I have definetely had such a strong bias against it and IDK where my aversion even came from! I honestly even get a bit turned off from crystal shops & sellers with heat treated citrine, but I need to have more of an open mind!
Hey Courtney!! The first citrine I got, was heat treated the citrine. I didn’t know it was heat treated so when I found out, for some reason I felt cheated out of my experience. For some reason, I have a bit of an aversion to it and prefer natural citrine. However, I’ve been trying to be a bit more open to working with it because since it’s a quartz, I can still manifest with it 🙂 My experience with natural citrine has been great! I have a sales job and, I feel like it’s helped me when I needed it most 🙂
I suppose as long as the seller is honest about what they are selling I don’t have a problem with it. Where I have an issue is natural citrine has a premium. Treated citrine is not as rare or valuable once treated so sellers offering treated citrine at natural prices is where I draw the line. I’d argue that most heat treated citrine is amethyst that wasn’t as saturated and less desirable but by treating it can make a crystal more beautiful. So I like that it’s not going to waste as long as the sellers are honest. Same goes for any other treated crystals or gems.
