Here are some of my.most recent herkimer druzy pieces along with an amazing and i would say rare black calcite crystal, it is undamaged and cleaned off, the black appears to be anthraxolite and it seems to be included into the calcite, thus giving it the dark black appearance. Quite and incredible piece i think!
