WORLD'S BEST Quartz Crystals (The Avant Mining Story)

Want to find your very own quartz crystals? Visit our public quartz dig at Fisher Mountain! Just purchase mining permits at 11 Logan Gap Road, Mount Ida, Arkansas 71957 – the cost is $25 each for adults, $20 each for seniors, $10 each for children 7-15 and children under 7 are free. Currently our hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday (weather permitting), but soon we’ll be open seven days a week!

    The best mining experience my wife and I have ever had. Ever. Jesse was the best tour guide. We found WELLLLL over the 1k low end requirement. Trust me, we got our 1k worth about 4 times over. We have some magnificent pieces. Thanks Avant. We will be back. Next time though, we would love to find a piece that is too big to carry. 🙂

    Whoa! I wanted to get there last year but no go with Covid. I am gonna give it another try this year. I really want to find a nice big crystal, even though I already have a nice one from this mine that I bought at a rock show from the people at the Avant mine. Very few people knew about the Avant/Zigras mines back then.
