I can’t lose weight I might aswhell give up
I will watch this as many times as necessary. Such important information.
What id suggest from personal experience is only eat twice a day and only eat until you’re something like 70 percent full. You should be slightly hungry when you go to bed and quite hungry when you wake up which you then sate until around 3-5 0 clock at which as i said you eat until youre only 70 percent full.
The only issue I had with this is when he said "if it’s fun you’re not doing it right" maybe we are a bit uncommon but I’ve known other people like myself who love exercise even, and especially, when those.physiological requirements are met. Intense exercise causes your brain to produce both endorphins (painkillers similar to opiods) and endocannabinoids (similar to cbd and thc). The fact people are missing out on this really sucks.
People have such diverse issues, this idea works much better with human nature.
AMAZING TEDTALK!
Amazing speaker and human being. I’ve learned so much in less than 20 minutes. Very motivating and inspiring. I’m a busy body too but he put a lot into perspective. Thank you
Ogie Shaw is from Raleigh, NC. Such an amazing speech. I’m from Raleigh as well.
I started walking once a day everyday it’s as simple as that
omg waw <3 <3
Actually, strengthen your lower back and stretch your abdominal muscles. We all sit too much.
Wonderful talk. Here in 2023.

Brilliant!!
Thank You For your talk.
This is the most important TED talk.
The problem isn’t just movement, it’s the S.A.D diet and the poison on our grocery shelves disguised as food. Most of the food in your local grocery store is full of sugar, pesticides and hormones. Knowledge is power.
I will make it happen.
6:13 “every muscle, cardiovascular, flexibility, muscle balance, muscle strength”…. My Question, how do you do all that in 20 mins?
Awesome presentation. I feel like I’m the hump day of my life style change. I’m 3 years into a fairy consistent routine of diet and excessive. Holidays are tough for me and I also struggle with a social affairs keeping up with my routine. I’m learning to forgive myself when I mess up.
My personal motivation is to continue to enjoy SCUBA diving and travel into my later life. Thanks for the encouragement and presentation.
This is one of my fav ted talks .
This is hilarious. And true. And has motivated me to join the 10% of healthy people. By knowing that I’m going to exercise every day, it’s just a question of ‘what’ I will do, not ‘whether’ I will do anything. Thank you.
Great Performance

A total body workout.Dropped a like on this video, great talk!
Work out everyday, first thing in the morning, 20 mins, against resistance.
Be able to sit with legs straights and bend, reach 10.cms past toeas
Step for 3 mins. Rest 15 secondes and take pulse. Should be less than 156 beats per min.
Fantastic presentation! Thank you!
This Talk could change the world
League sports for out of shape adults, especially women. All levels. Softball, soccer, basketball, tennis, maybe all indoor. Most adults had fun at these, but unless you’re a healthy young male, after adulthood we never get to play these again.
I was in the military for a little over four years. I can promise another few years would not have made me want to do more exercises.
I still didn’t pick up nor understand what work against resistance means. Thanks Ogie.
At 6.26 You state that if physical exercise is fun you and not doing it right and that there is no exercise that we know of that adequately works the whole body…. I beg to differ. For me, dance does all that and more….the mental wellbeing.
who asked
Still one of my favorites. I love his presentation style too.
This guy is phenomenal.
“Eat for nutrition; never eat for weight loss.”
That phrase sums it all up!
I love this and his delivery is great! I won the mental battle and love working out ..now my problem is controlling my gullet
!
I start everyday with prayer and gratitude. I roll out a mat seven days a week. I do core some stretching and then push ups. They’re free. They’re waiting every morning. Takes about 10 minutes but it’s continuous. Need it more then my coffee which I have shortly after.
I’m on my way to MTSU while listening to your lecture. 🙂
