This is essential information that isn’t spoken about very much. I have been through the works when it comes to detoxification and have learnt a great deal which I’m very excited to share with you.

First I want to briefly explain exactly what detoxification symptoms are and why we experience them, because understanding the process of detoxification is critical in order to cleanse and heal your body in order to reach a state of true health.

The body is beautifully designed to naturally rid itself of excess toxins. Unfortunately, in this modern world we are exposed to an extreme toxic load from the food we eat, the water we drink and the air we breathe, as it is all contaminated with unnatural substances. When your body accumulates more toxins than it is able to remove, you will eventually begin to experience negative effects. These are symptoms of detoxification.

Detox symptoms vary from person to person and can include the following:

– aches and pains
– digestive discomfort
– allergies
– irritability
– mood swings
– fatigue
– brain fog
– skin breakouts and rashes
– boils
– tumours
– mucous

Detox symptoms are the body’s way of trying to deal with an overload of toxins. They are a sign that your body is cleansing and becoming healthier. People often experience an increase in detox symptoms when they decide to gravitate towards healthier foods. For example:

moving from eating animal products to a plant based diet,or
from a cooked, plant based diet to a raw, living foods’ diet

If you decide to embark on a cleansing program like a juice or water fast, the symptoms may be intensified even more. This is because the body is dumping a huge amount of toxins into the blood stream to be removed.
