The fifth chakra, Throat chakra (Vishuddha Chakra), is located at the base of the throat, at the center of the Larynx. This is the reason this chakra is also called the Throat Chakra.
Your throat chakra is connected to your ability to communicate and speak your inner truth.
The throat chakra is associated with sky blue or turquoise-blue and the element of ether or space. The throat chakra is responsible for sound and expression through sound. This chakra is also correlated with all kinds of communication.
Location: Base of the throat
Color: sky Blue color
Mantra: Ham
Element: Space
Glands: Jaws, teeth, throat, and other mouth glands
The throat chakra is responsible for the ability to communicate, creativity, and self-expression.
As it is near the end of the color spectrum, blue allows for the calmness of the mind and the slowing down of racing thoughts, enhancing your verbal and writing communication, and subsequently, your creativity.

You can use this mudra with meditaion at your throat chakra to help clear the way for expression of your authentic self.
