I…I sleep in line with the Door so my love seat will be central to allow for snuggling while watching TV or gaming while most comfortable
Cassiel Marinoon August 29, 2023 at 10:12 pm
I don’t have a bed because I genuinely think the floor is more comfortable, what does that say about me?

I have my bed in the middle of the room. I’m not a pussy.

I don’t really like that the bedroom door opens to my feet, but I hate the idea of a wardrobe door next to the bed even more. Couldn’t tell you why
PiokoMewon August 29, 2023 at 10:17 pm
I like the bed against the wall and i sleep on the wall side and make hubby sleep on the cliff side, i mean outside
Ioanaon August 29, 2023 at 10:23 pm
That "feet towards the door means death" thing is a superstition here too. I’m inclined to believe it was imported from another culture, I haven’t found any reasoning behind it other than "that’s how ill people were placed in order to be carried out to their grave in case they died". Is there more to it than just superstition? Maybe sensitive people might believe in it and that could make them anxious, but that’s autosuggestion. Is there more to it??

This is so weirdly accurate for me! My daily reminder I’m a weirdo

I like the idea of secretly adding a twin mattress smashed up against our bed when our kiddo is in the too scared after a nightmare phase and wants to climb into bed with us, and dressing the beds to look like 1 bed. When they grow out of that phase, the twin disappears, and they think the bed looked so much bigger when they were little, and we still have the same amount of space as before.

what about "having 5 beds in one bedroom 3 out of the 5 beds are horizontal so you might see someone’s feet/head and its so cramped that you can barely breath?"
Kristen Kaufmanon August 29, 2023 at 10:37 pm
Ha! I laughed out loud so my husband came to see. He sleeps in the "him" spot, but it’s the only way we can put our bed! (Add windows to the right wall, bathroom door on the left.)

I sleep on a Japanese futon which means it’s very easy for me to just pick it up and move it somewhere else, so my bed placement is always changing lol

Lol!!! Was not expecting that last one.

My bed stands at the only possible place it could be. The only other options are to place the bed aside cabinets or the doorway, and also cabinets. My room isn’t big, at all.

“You secretly want your partner to die” whaaaat, why? Is it because intruders will attack him first?
Caitlin Irelanon August 29, 2023 at 10:49 pm
I sleep with my bed slightly off but facing the direction of the door… but I’m on the side closest to the door. I guess I want to die lol
J Con August 29, 2023 at 10:51 pm
The funny part is I always think about who is closest to the door (usually me).

Been my arrangement for most of my life

What space do you put your closet and your dresser? You never have any videos about the dresser and the closet

The legs of my bed are touching in the middle of the wall across from the door and the head is directed towards the door. Kinda like the "you want your partner to die" but flipped. What does that say about me?
