Good insight. From my experience as an Aries woman having had dealings with a few different Sagittarius men I think that we make better friends than being in an intimate relationship. I think that as friends we can relate to each other well but in a relationship there will always be trust issues.

Soooo spot on 🙂 I met my Sagittarius hubby when I was in gradeschool, we were seat mates, play mates, then became puppy love. We were only 10 then, I had to move to a different continent when I turned 12 so we we’ve been separated for many years now and we still are great friends, and great lovers 🙂 I’m 21 now so it’s been 11 years and counting. It helps a lot that we both have an open mind, a great friendship over the years because we really get one another.Together we became better people, understanding that things will happen at the right time if we just patiently wait. Now I’ve graduated my nursing degree and working and he’s working as a Marine engineer. Once we’ve saved enough we’ll get married by next year.
It’s the best kind of relationship when your lover feels like your bestfriend and it’s an efortless positive aspect of your life.

Agreed Call Her Red! Although the funny thing is most Sagittarius would prefer friendship in place of a relationship. If you’re a friend first, it’s easier to see you as a partner in a relationship. This dynamic is similar to Aquarius. You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t!

I had a 2 year relationship with an Aries – I should have called it quits much sooner than I did. He was too controlling, wanted his own way about everything, what we did etc (not good for a freedom loving Sag). He’s like that with his pals too. Anything someone suggests is met with "No, I don’t want to do that I want do to this"- simply ‘cos he didn’t think of it. His classic Aries confrontational nature resulted in many childish temper tantrums from him when something didn’t go his way, and then he could be incredibly hurtful – that was just too much for this laid back, peace loving Sag.
