I just saw the movie a week ago and this interview was 11 months ago. I feel she was bang on with what was portrayed in the film and what people said about him.

He grew up in a African community and went to their church which was very unusual and still is in the UsA. His clothes were from a Jewish taylor in his home town apparently. His mother Glady’s was his rock and she asked him what he wanted as a gift and he said a gun initially. She refused so he looked around some more and chose a guitar at 8 years old.
I was born to be an Elvis fan being born in 56. My Momma and Elvis shared their birthday Jan 8. They were 5 yrs apart. Momma being the older. Also both born in Mississippi in towns 15 minutes apart. Elvis was my first love and I still enjoy his music today. ❤ TCB⚡

Elvis the entertainer passed so he could live the life he wanted and to protect his family .he just wanted to be a normal person and to be able to walk down the street without being mobbed he was then reborn as pastor Bob Joyce and his now preaching just like he wanted to and I dont blame him I would have done the same family comes 1st ..
I wad born in 79 to immigrant parents so I didn’t grow up listening to Elvis. But I did watch his movie recently and I really liked it. I wonder how he feels about Austin Butler playing him and if the movie portrayed him truthfully?
