17 years with a controlling/manipulative partner. It took too long to see it, and it’s taking way too long to get out of it. He’s still trying to control me/the situation using our kids. I am stronger and more confident now, and see his games. I feel like I am becoming more the person I was before. We split Easter weekend 2024. He is mean when crossed. The last year has been stressful, but at least I am out and have the support of my friends and family.
MJ, I truly can’t thank you enough. The words spoken mirror so very much of what I have been (and continue to be) experiencing (e.g. giving away my power for my partner (Gemini) of over 58 years, watch the moments of rage/anger over the smallest of irrigations or disagreements, the numerous third parties (mostly younger men), working with realtors planning to move without my knowledge, unknown credit cards, etc.). All this all the while when I am trying to maintain an outer appearance to friends, family and neighbors. Bottom line, l have always strived to be supportive of those in my immediate environment: supporting those I managed at the workplace rather than dictate (which made me look weak) when appearing to be more of a coach as opposed to being someone to fear as a dictator. I could go on, but won’t. For so long I have been waiting to be given the news of someone wanting to leave. Like you, (in your example/sharing) I have been fearing the unknown, but you have given me courage to trust in my own power. Can’t thank you enough for your gift and openness. Yes, I am leaving my work at end of this year. I’ve been there almost 15 years. Yes, I’ve hung in about 2 years too long. I will be 67 soon. A family situation had me working longer than I wanted to. Yes, I’ve been biding my time at my day job. April 2024 was very difficult! Now I’m trying to reclaim my creativeness and time.

I don’t think it all applied to me, but some was really close. Surprisingly close. It is a toxic work environment, but I have needed my job to survive like many others. But, I have a project Iam on that is separate from work that I believe will deliver the abundance and excitement I have wanted in my life.

Nailed it!!! I just walked away from an aquarius who is a splitting narcissist after 4 years of him drinking and financially, emotionally and spiritually abusing me…im taking back my power…he showed no respect only drained my energy for his own benefit.
I let go of that connection years ago. I left, completely, changing any ties, contracts, or what ever, that may have been connected to it, so why is it that you guys draw it back again and again? I am not doing it. You people do not seem to get it. This person kept on hanging on or coming back, or perhaps it wasn’t even the individual, but people running this energy manipulation programme, pretending it is the person trying to come back. Are you told/guided, to keep people stuck in this strange loop. I just flow my own way.
