Rick Levine Astrology Forecast for January 2020
Rick Levine Astrology Forecast for January 2020
“FOR THE TIMES, THEY ARE A’CHANGIN’…” Astrologers all around the globe have been talking about the upcoming conjunction of Saturn and Pluto ever since Saturn flew into Capricorn in December 2017. Back then, I announced, “Saturn has only one inevitable task as he moves through his home sign, and that is a meeting with Pluto, The Lord of the Hell Realms. Well, the meeting date has arrived! The Saturn-Pluto conjunction is exact on January 12. We might as well consider it exact all month long, because astrological events this grand are not grist for the cosmic mill for only a day or two. The influence of this powerhouse of a conjunction has been building for a couple of years coming and will not start to lose significant momentum until after the Jupiter joins Pluto and Saturn in November/December 2020. Ideas, cultures, nations, and individuals are colliding; tentative new boundaries are being formed. The current occurrence of this three-times-per-century conjunction is extremely rare for several reasons. 1)It’s in Saturn’s home sign of Capricorn; 2) The lunar nodes are in the same sign; 3) Jupiter is also in the picture; 4) There is a Lunar Eclipse with a couple of degrees/days of the exact conjunction, and 5) It’s actually a four-planet conjunction with the Sun and Mercury conjuncting the Saturn-Pluto conjunction.
And look at what’s happening here on Earth! We are in the midst of a rare impeachment process in the USA that is throwing the country into a constitutional crisis. The European Union is losing the UK. NATO is in jeopardy. Colonial interests are being challenged again in places like Hong Kong. The Amazon, Indonesia, and now Australia are burning. Political differences seem insurmountable. The Times They are A’Changin’.
“Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don’t stand in the doorway
Don’t block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
There’s a battle outside
And it is ragin’.
It’ll soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin’.”
~Bob Dylan
However, the Saturn-Pluto is not the only game in town. We are intra-eclipsical, in that magical no-man’s land between two eclipses. The Cancer Full Moon Eclipse on January 10 (the same day Uranus turns direct) puts a final stop on this eclipse season with the eclipsed Moon in opposition to Mercury, Saturn and Pluto (in addition to the Sun). This is a profoundly intense tug-of-war between inner mastery and outer fear. Although the New Moon on January 24 is not an eclipse, it’s in futuristic Aquarius and square to wildcard Uranus. The Sun and Mercury (and the Moon) have each moved through cautious and conservative Capricorn into Aquarius and are now harbingers of the future, rather than reporters of the past.
“Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
And keep your eyes wide
The chance won’t come again
And don’t speak too soon
For the wheel’s still in spin
And there’s no tellin’ who
That it’s namin’.
For the loser now
Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin’.”

It’s impossible to know how the significant events of these last few years will play out in the weeks and months ahead. Astrology doesn’t hold as many specific answers as some people would prefer. However, astrological analysis clearly shows how incredibly important these weeks and months with are the Saturn-Pluto conjunction now — and leading up to the Jupiter-Pluto and Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions by the end of the year.
On a separate note: Thanks again to my small but growing Patreon tribe. You guys rock! You make these videos possible. Again, my apologies for not having a December Mid-Moonthly Update. All you $3/month Patrons and higher… I’ll get you something special later in the month to make up for it, in addition to the regular January Mid-Moonthly Update. Also, for you $10/month Patrons, I have a special memorial coming out this month on the Life and Times and Astrology of “Be Here Now” Ram Dass. His chart is as intriguing and profound as the man, himself. Okay, that’s it for now…
