The judge is not a good personal defense weapon
You bend your yoke slamming the cylinder shut
If it isn’t powerful enough to penetrate drywall, it isnt powerful enough for self defense
I like the hornady triple defense round as my self defense round it’s pretty great.
People either love or hate this gun there isn’t a in between

Under rated gun. It is a legitimate reliable multi caliber gun that’s versatility is really unmatched. I Made the mistake of carrying a $900 Glock 9mm instead of the Judge in the woods and a 5ft approaches me..
Upon retreating I was able to get off 3-rounds but missed.
1 shot with Judge 410 would’ve worked
Stop cowboying the cylinder!!!!! It jacks up the crane and can throw your revolver out of timing. Not all time, I know. But I have seen it happen multiple times.

You lost all credibility when you flipped the cylinder into battery. And a judge is way down the list for home defense
To re enforce the other comments. Do NOT slap a cylinder closed like that. It will damage the revolver in a number of ways.
Great until you buy a governor
If you like the judge, look in to the governor. Its basically a judge that has 6 rounds and can also shoot 45acp.

My dad used to edc his Judge with those exact PDX1 defender loads before he got his springfield XD40. Great gun very versatile
