"Pala Pink" Tourmaline Crystal, Himalaya Mine, California

A beautiful Pink Tourmaline crystal with Lepidolite from the world famous Himalaya Mine at Mesa Grande in San Diego County, California. Measures 3.0 x 2.8 cm and weighs 221.6 cts. Note that “Pala Pink” refers to the particular pink color of the crystal and not the locality, as the Pala District is about 20 miles north of the Himalaya Mine, though the two districts are often confused.
