have graced the tables of castles and palaces for centuries and it is easy to

glass is given special attention, with a hand-carved sunburst pattern. Measuring
four inches high, the glasses sell for each and are available in six gorgeous
jewel tones: tangerine, ruby, aquamarine, amethyst, emerald or amber. The
gilded look that was all the rage on Fall’s runway has landed on the table. The
Caroline Mercury Canister has an antiqued copper finish, the goblet an amber
luster and the fabulous crystal stemware from coveted names Moser and
Theresienthal is etched.
Theresienthal
manufactures the finest crystal and dates back to 1836, when founded by the
Bavarian King. Ever since, we were a preferred supplier for Royal Families and
appreciated partner for the best department stores. A key client in the late
19th century was the Tsar of Russia; we still produce some of the series, which
he had ordered. We retained and carefully developed the ancient skills and the
exquisite designs; we still create glasses that delighted Kings and Tsars and
still apply the proven techniques: every item that bears our crown was fully
hand-made in our site by our craftsmen. Around 15 glassworks, glass workshops
and galleries, Zwiesel is the centre of glassmaking and processing in the Bavarian
Forest. The Technical College for
Glass, Schott Zwiesel, Ambiente, Rimpler and the Theresienthal crystal factory
are just a few of the names associated with glassmaking in the town.
