Navajo Teachings: The Truth About Turquoise
Navajo Teachings: The Truth About Turquoise
The legends say… turquoise is meant to remind us of our existence in the Blue World.
The Blue World is the second in the teachings of the four worlds. It has a few different names.
The Second World, The Blue World, The Spirit World, and The World With No Surface.
Turquoise is said to offer protection.
To identify to the Holy People, the Five-Fingered beings who know where they come from.
Navajo Historian, Wally Brown, uses his necklace to teach about the symbolism of turquoise.
Wally has had his necklace for decades. It was given to him as payment for some presentations he gave long ago.
If you want a necklace like Wally’s… we are creating replicas right now. You can secure yours now while the project is open: https://producers.navajotraditionalteachings.com/wallys-replica-necklace

This explains why someone put a curse on my turquoise jewelry. I think I reversed it, but they spiritually robbed me.
There is more history in this video than any highschool history book.
I been getting into this the last few years
I got my first Turquois
Thank you Grandfather
I am of African descent; what does that say about my being one of God’s descendants?????
Beautiful examples of turquoise! My father was a rock hound for 50 years, when he passed I came into possession of his collection of raw turquoise. I have many different kinds each beautiful in its own way. Many of the turquoise I have are from mined out mines.
Thank you brother
in 1963 my aunt gave me a turquoise necklace, I instantly fell in love with it, and have been collecting turquoise ever since.
I love turquoise but it’s really hard to find natural turquoise as there are many fakes out there and I love natural rough stones mostly. Chrysocolla is also another stone that is similar to turquoise
All jewelry all gold all silver all turquoise and all Platinum since the beginning has caused death pain murder greed for hundreds of years and it all boils down to one t h i n g no matter what you sell to survive no matter what you own everything stays behind we become ashes and our soul goes elsewhere whether we like it or not and that one thing is knowing where your soul is going to go heaven or hell that is something you cannot purchase
this isn’t cool. don’t read of ya don’t want a bad story.

Other cultures revere these stones. The red color is Mediteranean red coral. That is supposed to ward off the evil eye. That is made in the shape of the cornuto or horn. The horn is a symbol of the moon and the sacred auroch.
Ancient aliens taught these people every tradition. Also they were never actually aliens or from anywhere else.
The code of the Navajo code talkers was never broken.
Turquoise is my birthstone btw
BTW, Christians, there are MANY MANY GODS(ELOHIM) but there is ONLY ONE CREATOR. Time to grow up friends. Ignorance makes us look ridiculous! GREAT WAY TO REPRESENT YAH!
Is anything ever truly yours in this world? Idk & am seriously think about that one
Thank you sir.
Thank you for sharing.
I don’t even look Native American. But, I know that I have 11% Cherokee and 4% Sioux Indian. If only I knew my Biological Parents were. Maybe it’s for the best to not know. But, I have 2 Parents now that adopted me. And they are my parents as far as I’m concerned. And fate led me to your direction. I do not know anything about my heritage. I will have to learn new ways and old ways
Thank you for another great video.
Utmost, utmost respect to this man and his culture. Thank you for posting! I need to learn more about the symbolism and background of native jewelry — I know a bit but had no idea about the meaning of turquoise necklaces, the two strands and two loops. Best and blessings from Colorado!
Interesting….. Turquoise happens to be my birthstone.
I would like to know, how does Mother Earth give something like gems freely to man? In which does it then come to man other than being digged up?
Greetings from Gemany!
How do you spell that word he said that means spiritual value or wealth? Yoteh?
Christianity is a tool of white supremacy. NO THANKS! PERIOD. Thank you to Native American spirituality and empowerment.
I always thought Turquoise was the most beautiful stone from the first time I saw it. Set in silver, nothing compares.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Just testing yt censoring, thanks nothing sensitive here
Turquoise is my birthstone
Thanks for posting!
Thank you Elder.
I am a Spiritual person. I have studied the Caucasian books & their misogynistic teachings. These are not written for everyone, only certain ‘men’ to entrap, enslave & dominate others.
Do better.
Listen to the wise elders, embrace them, protect them & their ways. Let them have their children back to teach them their languages & wear their indigenous clothes. Stop forcing them from their sacred lands, cutting off their hair, punishing them from speaking their ancient languages.
DO BETTER, YOU DON’T OWN THIS EARTH & EVERYTHING ON IT & IN IT.
That was very interesting, thank you.
",,,not yours, but put into your care." That’s the right way to look at so many things.
Watching him teach us about turquoise and its significance, for some reason, made me teary-eyed. There’s so much wisdom that today’s culture is lacking because we’re so far removed from Mother Earth. It was so moving to watch this and to learn. I’m glad I found this channel.
I like the philosophy of if it’s not given to you from the earth freely is not yours to take kind of like when I put a crystal point in a tree stump I don’t like when it goes missing
Turquoise is embedded in me , such a powerful color ( my one and only favorite color) the most beautiful and surely has an omnipotent presence ♡.
