My family back home in czech republic have been mining Moldavite for generations, one of the main families which do. whenever I visit them they tell me how hilarious it is that they are able to make a decent living by selling Moldavite to dumb people in the west thinking it’s some magical energising crystal, everyone in their village has Moldavite, kilos of it and not one of them ever has experienced any sort of spiritual/energising/vibrating woo effect – to them it’s just like any old mineral/crystal only difference is that there’s a large market in the west for it from new age wannabes.
Placebo and mass hysteria with these crystals really shows how gullible and susceptible people truly are to such notions.
