Hah I used to live near a river and whenever there happened to be low water level in summer I used to go there and collect these white Transparent stones and when i collide them they make bright light I used to do that as a kid.

  4. Brucifer Burton on June 13, 2023 at 4:02 am

Should have done the press in the dark.

Lightning and fire you idiot do not set the electrons on fire

As Lava cools and turns to basalt. Basalt is a crystal structure. As block form and get twisted as they tumble on a flow and basalt channel walls collapse, high voltage plasma fields are created which are often reported as UFO lights floating around erupting volcanos, ball lightning. Plasma fields can be created by nature in many ways. This is the ‘Piezo Effect’.

The sound of you rubbing them together made the hairs all the way down my spine stand

  9. Dave Johnson on June 13, 2023 at 4:18 am

    Oh well

  10. C J on June 13, 2023 at 4:19 am

The shapes of the crystal are important as well

  11. t3nstripes on June 13, 2023 at 4:19 am

I think it’s interesting that you say "companies have been scamming ppl for a long time claiming that quartz are energy crystals."
And then you prove that quartz has energy lol

The electricity released during mechanical pressure is a result of a property called piezoelectric. The same property that makes electric guitar pickups work, it’s also what they use in click lighters.
If you crush more quarts with the press then it would be fun to hook a multimeter up to both sides to record the electrical charge and also crush it in the dark to see all the light.

    Rock on!

  12. EggHeadUSA on June 13, 2023 at 4:20 am

Would be cool if you flattened them and put one on a grinder and see how bright it could get.

  13. Dave Johnson on June 13, 2023 at 4:20 am

    Abort!

  14. Vic Stanfieldshire on June 13, 2023 at 4:20 am

Or what about two contra-rotating lathes and use the friction welding technique…

  15. 585ronin on June 13, 2023 at 4:23 am

You can get the same effect by cracking an ice cube tray in the dark.

  16. Eric Hill on June 13, 2023 at 4:24 am

I would have liked to see the quartz crystals get crushed by the press in the dark.

  17. Dave Johnson on June 13, 2023 at 4:24 am

Diamonds of light aye mkultra huh

  18. SuperTurtlesauce on June 13, 2023 at 4:28 am

Is this similar to the light that happens when you pull sticky tape?
Edit: watched the rest of the video and answered my own question

  19. Mark Clifton Williams on June 13, 2023 at 4:32 am

    Crack some with light. Magnified..

    X

  20. Andrew on June 13, 2023 at 4:33 am

Those are fun to smoke, yep. Definitely.

  21. Fou Lu on June 13, 2023 at 4:33 am

If you found the right frequency/vibration and place it on the crystal, wouldn’t it light up like a light bulb?

  22. random269 on June 13, 2023 at 4:35 am

You should have used the press in the dark

  23. 420MONK on June 13, 2023 at 4:36 am

Try it with pieces of copper along with crystals.

  24. Dave Johnson on June 13, 2023 at 4:36 am

    Whatever

  25. Vic Stanfieldshire on June 13, 2023 at 4:36 am

What does that Quartz look like when it’s being crushed in the dark?

  26. Trixie C on June 13, 2023 at 4:37 am

This guy: "Companies have been scamming people for a long time selling quartz crystal as energy crystals"
Also this guy: "Now, I’m going to extract energy from these quartz crystals" …

Third eye nose duplex reverse engineering issue with neuralink

  28. panagiotis drakopoulos on June 13, 2023 at 4:38 am

i tried it with quats in a dark room.. didnt work for me

  29. ÜberLove on June 13, 2023 at 4:42 am

"Now companies have been scamming people, selling them quarz as energy crystals for a long time"
Proceeds to talk about how they have positive and negative charges and makes light with them. Logic.

  30. ClosestNearUtopia on June 13, 2023 at 4:43 am

Man man man the way you destruct that crystal… just wreckless..

  31. Torque E Bikes on June 13, 2023 at 4:44 am

They smell like burnt rock too when you rub them for awhile

  32. Mark Clifton Williams on June 13, 2023 at 4:45 am

Why not try and cut with high powered water..

    Time it..

  33. Mephisto on June 13, 2023 at 4:45 am

a fidget spinner made out of these would look awesome

  34. kev music on June 13, 2023 at 4:46 am

I have a couple of quartz crystals that I have used to show people about
this since the 80s (not every day, you understand). I may be wrong, but
I’m convinced there are TWO phenomena going on here. If you rub them
vigorously, it seems to be the friction that causes an orange spark and
a slight burning smell (suggesting not ‘cold’), as if you have chipped flint
    – and so is not really all that impressive. BUT if you rotate/grind the quartz
slowly over each other with the right pressure, a blue light will eventually
appear to emit from ‘within’ the crystal that has no smell and is cold – as
if there is something other than the friction causing the light. Surely, this
would be a more remarkable thing? There is no need to break them.
AM I describing something fundamentally different or misunderstanding?
Can others with a few crystals back me up in this? It is not mint cake!
I also used to see blue ‘sparks’ when I split apart the glued down flap of
some envelopes that came through the post, but I’ve not seen this in a while.

  35. Turning Null on June 13, 2023 at 4:47 am

I feel if u using this material makes a warhead and when it hit the target should be able to release bunch lights.

  36. Wandera1970 on June 13, 2023 at 4:47 am

pity you didn’t record the hydraulic press breaking the crystal in the dark and with highspeed camera. I think that would have been a cool video in its self.

  37. Brick Room 7 on June 13, 2023 at 4:47 am

Was wondering if there is a way for a material to generate a pulsing magnetic field naturally? I mean to constantly turn off and on a N or S pole field.

  38. Torched RC on June 13, 2023 at 4:48 am

Attach a small low geared motor to rotate two crystals against each-other.

  39. cmd just tryig on June 13, 2023 at 4:48 am

you should have turned the light off for the hydraulic press!!

  40. Mi Mika on June 13, 2023 at 4:50 am

The hammer was a just transitional excuse to use the press wasn’t it?

  41. Dave Johnson on June 13, 2023 at 4:51 am

    That’s a photon bomb abort!

  42. ORIGINS DECODED on June 13, 2023 at 4:53 am

natural quartz wil produce a yellow hue. refined 99.9% quartz will produce more of a white led color.

  43. Mr. Truth777 on June 13, 2023 at 4:54 am

Their is such thing as cold light, the moon has cold light and if you don’t believe me I dare you to grab a thermometer to measure temperature and measure the temperature of the moonlight and the shade, the moonlight is colder than the shade no jk please try it.

  44. ChainSaw on June 13, 2023 at 4:57 am

I didn’t break my crystals and it worked perfectly
