Rock hunting with the family looking for the perfect clear quartz crystal. My quartz claim was a mine for silica back in the day. But now is a great spot to look for quartz crystals. Many single crystals and nice quartz crystal clusters have been pulled off this claim in the past but they are harder and harder to find as more and more get taken.
