Long ago, soldiers and warriors used it in battle to help them feel courageous, and pregnant women tied bloodstone to their thighs during labor to help them bleed less and to protect them during the birth process. It is a great stone to use if you are in need of courage and strength and helps you to have faith and determination in the face of adversity.
