Welcome back to another HOW TO SPOT FAKE CRYSTALS VIDEO video! This is part 5 of a series on my channel of HOW TO SPOT FAKE CRYSTALS!
In Todays video we will be focusing on today will be ROSE QUARTZ, PINK AMETHYST & AMETHYST!

LAVENDER ROSE QUARTZ: There is such a thing as real lavender rose quartz but it only comes from one mine in Brazil. It comes from the Boquira Mine. (and to my knowledge the mine is closed) Most of the Lavender Quartz I have seen on the market is the lower quality version of rose quartz.
Disclaimer: This is what I’ve personally seen and been told by my suppliers being a seller and buyer. I do not know everything nor claim too. My intention is to prevent you from paying too much for a low quality piece and bring awareness to a marketing technique that is “claiming” something is rare when its not.

    Amethyst crystal tip: sunlight makes the purple fade. Keep it out of the sun 🙂

    Amethyst is purple or lavender quartz. Its never pink.

    Or old antique shops? Estate sales even thrift stores or pawn shops? Is where I find a lot of mine very underpriced. I don’t trust people who sell them as a job I feel more safe finding the ones I find at random. It feels like it was meant to be

    Surely lab-grown crystals are better for the environment? Genuine stones are often mined by slaves or low-paid workers, working in appalling conditions and robbing a beautiful natural resource that will take ?millions of years to reproduce. Although I appreciate their beauty, I do not think crystals are essential in magical practice. I appreciate the video though, great research!

    When I was in London I went into this
    Shop called "Blue moon" that sold crystals and crystal necklaces
    And I got a raw amethyst out of there
    Can you please tell me why my raw amethyst looks pink?

    I have a rose quartz tower but I noticed it has a bit of black dots. It’s heavy for a small tower(which doesn’t bother me)
