Located in South Australia, Coober Pedy was discovered in 1915. This is where most of the “white/milky” and Crystal Opals are mined. Coober Pedy is the main producer of white Precious Opal.
The public fossicking/prospecting area is open to anyone wanting to find their own Precious Opal.
