It has occurred to me that someone could just point at some random markings on a rock and say they are legs and I would have no choice but to accept it since I don’t know anything about fossils.

We Came Upon a place that was all fossilized rocks and oh my God it was beautiful unbelievable we put them in our pockets to bring them back to the rest of the folks that our parents are almost falling down if we had a wonderful afternoon looking at them all and then we left them there

There was a defect. It didn’t get shaved down. It got built up. I’ve seen plenty of rocks. The odd one is usually odd for a reason
