    Break the tube

  2. Rabe Remington on October 8, 2023 at 7:09 pm

Why pour it in that tube instead of a flexible mold?

  3. Ricardo Escobar on October 8, 2023 at 7:10 pm

Use nitrogen oxide put a drop or too and it will loosen up the opal particles enough to where it will slide out, but will not soften the opal. Always wear a mask when handling these chemicals. Opal particles can make your shit shiny but tear up your insides at the same time.

Use a glass tube that you can break it out. Or a plastic one so you can cut it out.

  19. MageSkeleton on October 8, 2023 at 7:33 pm

well obliviously you remove the tube from the opal, easy. Just because as glass is very sharp when it’s in any form that looks like a blade.

  20. SPQRxUSAxNUSA on October 8, 2023 at 7:35 pm

Serious question: Could you line the tube with wax or wax paper and then just heat it lightly to remove? Or would it react?

  22. littlesushie on October 8, 2023 at 7:38 pm

  38. Jeff Cronch on October 8, 2023 at 7:58 pm

Does it have to be a glass tube? Can you use platinum silicone? If so, boom. Preformed opal molds.

  39. Yoshikage Arman on October 8, 2023 at 7:59 pm

    this video is pure "opal-tunity!"

  40. Elephant in the room on October 8, 2023 at 8:02 pm

You should get one of those silicone molds people use for making resin sculpture art and use that to mold it. Much easier to take out than a glass tube.
