Geological Properties of Angel Aura Amethyst

Angel Aura Amethyst is Amethyst coated with Gold and Iridium. Aura Crystals are real Quartz crystals which have been enhanced in a laboratory. This intensifies the original elements of the base crystal (usually Quartz or Amethyst) plus emits a unique set of new energies. Aura Amethyst is created in a vacuum chamber from quartz crystals, gold and iridium vapor by vapor deposition. The quartz is heated to 871 °C (1600 °F) in a vacuum, and then gold and iridium vapor is added to the chamber. Amethyst is a form of Quartz with its only distinguishing property being its deep purple coloring. Amethyst can exist as different colors, but it is most known for its beautiful purple. The purple coloring is caused by trace amounts of iron in the crystal structure. Pieces of Amethyst can range in purple intensities depending on how much, and where, the iron is distributed in the specimen. After Amethyst fully crystallizes, gamma rays are emitted by radioactive materials in the host rock. These gamma rays irradiate the iron in the Amethyst to produce the famous purple coloring.
