I love that little bit of choreography. The way Yip catches bruces arm is sort of a grabbing Tan Sau. Interesting way to use it. Ive studied wing chun myself.

He looks the part more so than Donnie Yen(from the Ip Man series) & Tony Leung(from The Grandmaster).

This always intrigue me, when Ip Man said "You’re special then, you’re special now so the demon wants you."
For me this is really the curse of fame or someone that is one of a kind. This scene is well acted. My most favorite scene in the movie.

Never really payed too much attention to this quote, but now, after some years of study and some personal experience, I can’t help but wonder what Ip Man is trying to convey. Reality seems much deeper than we can imagine. There’s a spiritual war going on.
