Just a personal thought/feeling on this… First, can I say Holy shit, WOW!!! That is a bas ass piece!!! But…I think that I would have used silver instead of the gold. The silver would have tied it together better. All the other colors were "cool" colors and I think sticking with a "cool" color like silver vs a "warm" color like gold would have been more visually appealing.

beautiful but i liked it before the paint lines

  4. Richelle Fiscus on May 19, 2022 at 7:34 pm

Which epoxy of yours could I use to make my own crystals? I have seen molds for them. I know it would not be as cool as real, but could make more or use some real, and fill in with some small fakes. Any suggestions?

This is so beautiful, but I liked it better and thought it looked more natural BEFORE you added the paint lines at the end.

Shared. Hi Mitch; first, thank you for sharing this Video. I’m watching you from Orange County, California. Second, wow! You created a stunning Piece of Art. How you turned that simple Board into a real looking Gemstone, that matches the rest of the Gemstones, is incredible and beyond beautiful.

Those washed out lines from day one gives it a more natural less focused look which is beautiful and the combinations is stunning

Beautiful, creative work, as always! Could a person, at the final stage of this project, decide to add LEDs from behind? Feasible to follow a line on the back and drill into the gems, push some LEDs through and light it up? In my mind it seems like it would work, but I don’t know anything about gems and bits, etc.

How You remove the drops un the Botton of the canvas?????????

  24. Richelle Fiscus on May 19, 2022 at 8:08 pm

I shared!!watching from Crown Point, Indiana! It’s gorgeous! Stunnning!!I wanna try it, but with maybe some fine silver dust by some of the crystals and kinda wanna try it on the other side of the canvas, then fill up to the wood with epoxy, covering the crystals to make it seem like they are floating! Thoughts?

  25. Victoria Thornton on May 19, 2022 at 8:08 pm

You didn’t list the name of the paint pens you use. I’ve tried many kinds, most don’t make great lines unless they are brand new. What kind are you using?

  26. Margaret Quist on May 19, 2022 at 8:12 pm

You are giving this beauty away!!?? Wow!! That means you have to help your Mama make my own!! This is gorgeous,

  27. Richelle Fiscus on May 19, 2022 at 8:14 pm

Coming from Crown Point! Shared again! I can’t stop! It’s so calming and therapeutic when I was making epoxy things, (break cause of head injury, dying to start again) but didn’t realize how therapeutic it was just to even watch u make it!!!

  28. Sheri Pavelich on May 19, 2022 at 8:16 pm

I’m interested to know how much you spent on crystals, and how heavy is it?

Hey Mike, Mitch and team. I recently watched a Leggari video just out of curiosity and the counters they made were just hideous! To my knowledge, you guys were out there selling resin and making videos way before them, and I’ve only seen their videos out in the last year. Am I right here? I know I was biased leaning toward SCC before I watched their video, but definitely totally loyal to SCC now! So when I buy, it’s gonna be from you!

I really liked the look of the washout from the clear over the stones, to me it made it feel very natural. I loved it
