I hate the triggers on mouse guns and I am sorry to hear that this is no better. The curve is a gimmick in my opinion. While I am sure there are other .380s that shoot well, I went from mouse guns to the Glock 42 and haven’t felt a need to try anything else. It is small and easy to conceal, it is accurate and the trigger is a Glock trigger. I did keep my LCP for when I need super concealable because it is better than nothing.

I think this is Taurus’s version of the Remington R51. An idea that should have gone no further than a board room. I can’t say anything nice other than its really thinking outside of the box,

  3. Rhino’s Jiu-jitsu on October 30, 2021 at 8:12 am

This is a pure defense gun. It’s not a competition gun it’s not a range gun it’s simply for self defense. It’s for carrying not for sitting in your dresser drawer at your house. They made this for people to carry. Because people complain that the gun they carry is to heavy or they can’t wear a certain type of clothing they like.

  4. Jasonz1919 on October 30, 2021 at 8:15 am

Think it should have some sights

  5. Mataro Mackall on October 30, 2021 at 8:17 am

They do need some refinement and need to consider bumping it up to a 9mm. Lets see if Taurus listens to consumers. Thanks Hank

  6. Taylin Frit on October 30, 2021 at 8:20 am

So would you say it’s worth it for $200?

  7. ShitFromShinola on October 30, 2021 at 8:22 am

This is what happens when marketing for the masses meet engineers.. This pistol solid as a soup sandwich…

  8. Doug Mare on October 30, 2021 at 8:23 am

Interesting suggested use as a home gun. The light weight, smooth contours, and tiny size would seem to be pretty much ideal for a "wear around the house" piece. That’s something which might not have occurred to me until I held it in my hand.

  9. JnJ Outdoors on October 30, 2021 at 8:23 am

Lola is good! experience really shines, she might have shot it better than you hank!

  10. dale myers on October 30, 2021 at 8:24 am

why do you aficionados look at size. if you were of the non norm. you might be seen as a size queens. lol… but if you shoot underwood or lehigh 380 ammunition, size wouldn’t matter. not bore size, but how long the difference is. with these two ammo brands. it really doesn’t matter. 9mm and the 380 with leigh extreme penetrator loaded in it, shows the same ballistics traits.

  11. Robert Johnson on October 30, 2021 at 8:26 am

Cool looking gun, but honestly do not think I would buy one or carry one.  First reason is the stopping power of the .380, I prefer a good hot 9 mm load, at the very least.  Second is that I reload for all of my guns, and I really don’t want to have to gear up for a new caliber.  Lastly, round count.Having said all that, keep the vids coming!  I don’t have to want to buy it to appreciate knowing something about it.

  12. Jason Miller on October 30, 2021 at 8:27 am

Review is old I’m a gun enthusiasts mine came with viridian laser so my curve is a next generation this is a great gun for Summer carry

  13. Andro brolic on October 30, 2021 at 8:28 am

    Is this worth 195.00

  14. Colt on October 30, 2021 at 8:30 am

What size staples does it take?

  15. David Austin on October 30, 2021 at 8:31 am

Great job Hank. Well done review. Always making solid videos!

  16. TennesseeMatt on October 30, 2021 at 8:34 am

I think it’s an interesting concept for sure. I hope Taurus refines the pistol. I don’t see myself every owning one of these, especially given the price. But there’s definitely a market out there for pistols like this.

  17. mastalee on October 30, 2021 at 8:36 am

obvious the clip seemed like a good idea at the time but it didn’t seem it panned out well. plus the durability seems to lack.
also this is a carry gun in which you have to entrust your life with.
I don’t think I would trust this for carry.
it needs to go back to the drawing board. plus not left hand friendly

  18. TAC NERD 1.0 on October 30, 2021 at 8:41 am

Personally, I think in about a year you’re going to find this in the "sale bin"

  19. Ranger Danger on October 30, 2021 at 8:42 am

    Hank,
Nice review. That laser needs some serious work. As you said, it came on, then went off, two small lights was doing the same! @2:23 Lola was running it like a Boss.
    Keep up the great reviews.
    Rangers… Lead the Way!

  20. Sir Oglesby on October 30, 2021 at 8:42 am

    It’s so ugly

  21. Eric Lavergne on October 30, 2021 at 8:43 am

    sig 290rs all day…

  22. Soprano on October 30, 2021 at 8:43 am

Not sure if it was said but make sure that lady with the pink earpro fixes her grip. It was ok for that little gun but if she shot a bigger semi auto she might get a nasty bite or cut from the slide. I’m always trting to give taurus the benefit but they still don’t appeal to me for my uses.

  23. Dylan Straub on October 30, 2021 at 8:44 am

Ummm it looks like a freaking toy. I wouldn’t spend good money on it. 9mm is better IMHO.

  24. Mrgunsngear Channel on October 30, 2021 at 8:44 am

Ryan’s face when firing was epic.

  25. Kneedlez kane on October 30, 2021 at 8:45 am

Very good review. Only shot 100 rounds but it seems to jam often.

  26. Justin Evans on October 30, 2021 at 8:47 am

I’ll keep my TCP, but it is different and innovation is always good

  27. Delightfullydemented65 on October 30, 2021 at 8:48 am

Uh…"accuracy" from what’s basically a "pocket pistol?" Dang dude, how big is the inside of your house? Also, a "9mm versus a .380?" Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t want to be on the business end of any firearm regardless of caliber…just sayin…I’ve never been shot with anything but a BB gun but I’d think it’d friggin hurt! Maybe you can get a part-time gig as a "shot-test-dummy" rather than a "crash-test-dummy." No offence intended because you look like a pretty stout fellow, but I’d say for instance, if you broke into my home, my little.380 would smart like a motherfucker

  28. palindrome pictures on October 30, 2021 at 8:49 am

I see this as a possible ankle carry backup gun, but would want one without the silly laser and light for a far lower price

  29. Hangtown Gunner on October 30, 2021 at 8:50 am

The white woman was shooting that like a revolver with her thumb over her strong hand.. She’s gonna get her thumb broken or atleast some serious slide bite.. You might want to point that out to her.

  30. Gun Enthusiast on October 30, 2021 at 8:51 am

    interesting pistol

  31. Robert Mulkey on October 30, 2021 at 8:53 am

do they use the same mags as a tcp?

  32. 72cmcinc on October 30, 2021 at 8:56 am

Good job, good to see some other points of view on this!  Not for me, but I still appreciate the job you and Lola do!

  33. BaronGlacius on October 30, 2021 at 8:56 am

Great format. Like to see more of this format with other firearms.

  34. I Am Jason Allen on October 30, 2021 at 8:57 am

Great vid. This unit is not my cup of tea. ps. Lola Strange goes to Hollywood to play kick @$$ secret agent?

  35. The William on October 30, 2021 at 8:58 am

At 21 feet, the curve is deadly accurate. It will most definitely save your life.

  36. mozzberg on October 30, 2021 at 8:59 am

    Thanks, but I’ll pass.

  37. gasdorfic muncher on October 30, 2021 at 9:00 am

soo much negative reviews ive had this gun sence it came out , nothing bad to say about the gun ..lazer never goes off and is easy to use ?

  38. tv92taylor on October 30, 2021 at 9:00 am

Good review. I like that you got the opinions of a couple who seem to be a bit less knowledgeable on firearms. Like you said, that’s who the Curve is for.

But… Some please show the lady (not Lola) how to shoot a semi-auto safely.

  39. TheIrcbully on October 30, 2021 at 9:03 am

I hit the thumbs up button would rather have the glock 42 for the same money

  40. cfunk10 on October 30, 2021 at 9:03 am

So you’d prefer it to be 9mm but would use this in the home? Wut? If it was 9mm it would be twice the size, or half the capacity. I’m am sure as hell not using a .380 for home defense when size is much less an issue. This is strictly a carry gun for personal defense purposes, hence the long trigger pull. You’re not gonna use this to be a hero and take out a bunch of bad guys. It’s a last r sort defensive tool.

  41. MrAutochamber on October 30, 2021 at 9:03 am

The way both ladies ran this gun really looked impressive. Made me actually change my mind as to its value and this is probably the 8 or 9th review I have watched on it.

  42. Ken Edwards on October 30, 2021 at 9:07 am

The entire Taurus line is TOO FIDDLY that’s why they are always being sued (or having their guns blow up on you).
SCREWS BACKING OUT WHEN SHOOTING !!!! YOU REALLY WANT TO HAVE YOUR LIFE DEPEND ON THIS GIMMICK????

  43. Patriot Bill on October 30, 2021 at 9:10 am

Good reviews from the panel. Given Taurus’ history though I’ll definitely keep the Ruger LCP.
