Black Obsidian Mirror and Crystal

I am going over some of the properties of this powerful stone. Thanks for the feedback. I have only worked with this stone in smaller size so when I received the mirror sized I assumed it wasn’t real (it probably is real). I chose to keep the video up because I am still going over some of its properties. Thanks

    Obsidian is translucent. 🙂

    I think you the wire wrapped one is more likely flint which is found with limestone and is considered a mineral quartz .. as for obsidian it’s formed when lava cools rapidly and it’s a type of volcanic glass . So what you have there most likely is obsidian but do your research .

    I just returned from Mexico and bought a mirror just like your own; at a legit shop near the pyramids. Thus, your mirror is probably legit as well.

    You got the real deal, just like the sum of the Nuggets that are Black Obsidian if you look closely at the edges it is slightly transparent. So you got the real thing is just so highly polished that you can see through it I would like to have one of those.

    Obsidian is basically black volcanic glass

    So there’s some parts of obsidian that are going to be translucent and see-through it depends on the type of obsidian that is used and how thick they make the mirror
