    I have found LOTS of LEAVERITE in New Mexico. I haven’t finished the video yet, looks great. Make sure you tell people that mines are dangerous and not to go into mines without safety precautions, don’t go in without permission, take hard hats, lights, good boots and gloves. Maybe dust masks. Have a safety briefing before going in, have a head count when you are out. We still have people killed falling into mines out here. And there are lots of rattle snakes! I know of claims where the owners will pull a gun on you if you trespass! Maybe go visit the BLM office first. They can print out maps for you. Safety first! The temperatures get over 100 in the summer..we saw 114 a couple of weeks ago. Tell people where you are going and when you think you will be back home. Use 4X4 truck that is in good shape. Carry spare parts and tools for repair. Not all cellphones can reach a tower out in the desert or mountains. Have fun, take pictures and video. Thanks Crystal Collector.
