  2. @indoorstayer on March 23, 2025 at 6:58 pm

I love you, in both ways

  3. @naphtaligarde1646 on March 23, 2025 at 7:01 pm

You can do that on Win 11 and not on Win 10…

  4. @madmatt2024 on March 23, 2025 at 7:10 pm

    I just tried this on Windows 10, doesn’t work…

  7. @loscarabbiero853 on March 23, 2025 at 7:13 pm

I am the only one that has 100% every time, if i need to change it i use the wheel on my earphones

  8. @RASK_Tech on March 23, 2025 at 7:13 pm

works on linux too, just checked!

  9. @ayushmanpatel2162 on March 23, 2025 at 7:14 pm

That’s not a problem for me as my keyboard has a dedicated volume up and down button

  10. @BasTSLA on March 23, 2025 at 7:15 pm

After years of existing my first time, i know about that

  11. @Defunny-g9v on March 23, 2025 at 7:15 pm

Wait that is so cool. On most laptops I can use 3 fingers on the trackpad to raise and lower the volume. This has to be the desktop equivalent.

  12. @saltygrin2 on March 23, 2025 at 7:16 pm

Windows user since ’95, can’t believe I didn’t know this… THX for the tip!

  13. @crissplayzgames2763 on March 23, 2025 at 7:17 pm

Some headphones actually let you change the volume with a scroll wheel like mone

  14. @TheShorts5555 on March 23, 2025 at 7:17 pm

Not faster when I’m in game, function keys work fine even when playing

  15. @chance_and_harper on March 23, 2025 at 7:18 pm

we need a volume dial tier list

  16. @xypha85 on March 23, 2025 at 7:19 pm

I just leave that volume 100% and change the ap making the noise…

  17. @dragons_advocate on March 23, 2025 at 7:21 pm

I made a makro to have media keys controlled with Ctrl-Alt and the numpad. Much easier than everything else.
And no, I will never consider a TKL keyboard, I much rely on those keys everyday.

  18. @WilliamMartin-b2h on March 23, 2025 at 7:22 pm

    There’s no reason for

  19. @JustARandomBearOwO on March 23, 2025 at 7:22 pm

Personally, I remapped two of my keys I don’t use to Volume up and down.

  20. @zbyskie on March 23, 2025 at 7:24 pm

    one word: deej

  21. @Yeasiin on March 23, 2025 at 7:24 pm

hovering only work on win 11. not working on my win 10

  22. @theRobson0908 on March 23, 2025 at 7:24 pm

Gotta love roccat and easyshift for just pressing a button on the side of my mouse to change volume with the wheel from anywhere

  23. @edwardcanez on March 23, 2025 at 7:25 pm

I use the extra mouse buttons

  24. @h1pixel on March 23, 2025 at 7:25 pm

I have it with my mouse so If I hold mouse button 5 and then scroll it changes the volume

  25. @spht9ng on March 23, 2025 at 7:25 pm

Good thing i use an interface for all my audio needs

  26. @misternoodle1236 on March 23, 2025 at 7:25 pm

I have a mouse that has up and down arrow keys just below the wheel. They are normally for changing the dpi, but I changed them to be up and down on volume. WAY better than a knob imo lol

  27. @Saimon58 on March 23, 2025 at 7:27 pm

I was today years old to get to know this hidden function. 😉

  28. @alococuccoyo6103 on March 23, 2025 at 7:28 pm

I have an interface that I use for my master volume already. I’m good.

  29. @pvtpy1e on March 23, 2025 at 7:29 pm

Stand alone USB volume control dials exist. You can also build your own using an Arduino and a rotary encoder. Because the Arduino can double as a HID keyboard.

  30. @TheSaxAppeal on March 23, 2025 at 7:30 pm

Volume controlled speakers…my PC volume stays at 100%

  31. @Malo.1301 on March 23, 2025 at 7:30 pm

Fun fact: this also works on the GNOME DE on Linux.

  32. @Cobalt_13 on March 23, 2025 at 7:31 pm

My headset has a scroll wheel which lets you adjust the volume

  33. @JMD-tu1xm on March 23, 2025 at 7:33 pm

Sheesh. I tried this after watching it and I genuinely didn’t know you could do it. I guess I won’t need to use my laptop’s volume keys as often anymore…

  34. @klaymore_roomba on March 23, 2025 at 7:33 pm

My headphones (CORSAIR VOID ELITE Wireless Gaming Headset) have a little "dial" that can adjust my volume

  35. @Lt_Koro on March 23, 2025 at 7:36 pm

I have literally never seen headphones without a volume dial on them directly. maybe some crazy studio or other audiophile ones…
but literally every single gaming headset out there has it. this is how I always adjust the volume. just directly on my headset…

  36. @Joe_Payne on March 23, 2025 at 7:38 pm

I have dedicated up and down volume buttons

  37. @FilthyCasualYT on March 23, 2025 at 7:38 pm

I tried it and it didn’t work. Doesn’t matter though, I have dedicated volume control buttons. Will admit though, I had a keyboard with a volume knob on it almost 2 decades ago, and I’ve been looking for a decent one ever since.

  38. @Mariuszgamer on March 23, 2025 at 7:39 pm

    UR A GENIUS!

  39. @SapphireScroll on March 23, 2025 at 7:46 pm

I’m so glad my laptop has functionlock

  40. @AzkaFujii on March 23, 2025 at 7:48 pm

i have a razor keyboard, i dont even need to hover over the thing, i can just turn the dial

  41. @michaelsumnerjr5819 on March 23, 2025 at 7:50 pm

    Honestly, that’s awesome!

  42. @thispersonis-taken on March 23, 2025 at 7:52 pm

my 2017 razer blade pro had these media controls above the trackpad which was on the right, i loved how good the positioning was for me

  43. @Steamaccount-ky9ly on March 23, 2025 at 7:52 pm
