Moldavite is a form of glass that was created via a one time meteor impact in what is now the Czech Republic 15 million years ago. Many different varieties of tektites exist. Unfortunately today, due to somebody claiming that it will “change your life”, the cost on this material has skyrocketed. Regrettably to make it affordable people are breaking apart complete pieces and now good specimens are becoming hard to find.
