There is such thing as blue obsidian. Its just extremely rare.

  21. @sangarp2001 on December 16, 2024 at 8:06 pm

fake obsidian is more expensive to make

  22. @CrystalCollector-g4n on December 16, 2024 at 8:07 pm

I have an authentic black obsidian. It is jet black in color, but when passed through strong artificial light (like bulb, flashlight or cellphone light) it is translucent and a yellowish brown color is seen on the other side.

My advice, buy crystals from a REPUTABLE crystal shop with thousands of positive reviews, preferably operating for at least 5 years and selling stones with certification.

I bought a piece of obsidian from a small business and I found this video and I tried it then my obsidian had a bit of a yellow light go through it ( its big compared to my phone flashlight ). Tysm for this tip! <3

  30. @FlamingZwolf on December 16, 2024 at 8:26 pm

my obsidian is green , is it real??

  31. @Roeskva_theFox on December 16, 2024 at 8:27 pm

Tysm for this! I’ve had a rly thick piece of obsidian for a long time, and I found it in a gravel road, so of course I thought it was just glass, but it’s much thiccer than any glass bottles, glasses, etc.. So I’ve been confused! But now I can see it’s real bc the light turns yellow near the edgeds (the only place the light passes through bc it’s so thick) so yeah, thanks!

  32. @Emogirl28 on December 16, 2024 at 8:31 pm
