Lemon Ginger Turmeric Wellness Shots
Ingredients:
* 1 small orange, peeled
* 2 small lemons, peeled
* 1/4 cup chopped fresh turmeric (peeling optional)
* 1/4 cup chopped fresh ginger (peeling optional)
* 1/8 tsp fresh black pepper
* 1/2 cup coconut water
* 1/2 cup of pineapple juice
* 2 tsp of honey ( adjust to taste )
* 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper ( adjust to taste )
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Ingredients: Start by washing the orange, lemons, turmeric, and ginger. Peel the orange and lemons, and chop the turmeric and ginger into small pieces. Peeling the turmeric and ginger is optional.
2. Blend Everything: Add the peeled orange, peeled lemons, chopped turmeric, chopped ginger, coconut water, pineapple juice, black pepper, honey and cayenne pepper to a high-speed blender.
3. Blend Until Smooth: Blend all the ingredients on high until the mixture is completely smooth. This may take 1-2 minutes, depending on your blender.
4. Strain: Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a bowl.
5. Serve: Pour the wellness shot into small glass bottles or shot glasses. Store any remaining shots in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
6. Shake and Enjoy: Shake well before each use, as the ingredients may settle over time.
