1. Crystal Quartz Origins
In Ancient Greece, quartz crystal was referred to as krustallos which is derived from the Ancient Greek word kruos, meaning “icy cold”. This connection comes from the ancient belief that quartz crystal was water that froze so deeply it remained eternally solid. Quartz was then mostly found near glaciers in the Alps rather than near volcanic masses, and larger crystal pieces were often fashioned into spheres to cool the hands. This led Roman Naturalist, Pliny the Elder to believe that quartz was water eternally frozen into ice. This belief lasted until the late 17th century.

Something very strange happened a couple of years back. I was going through a box of my things and in it I found a Herkeimer diamond with its roots still attached that I know I never ever had. It just showed up in my stuff. No one except me had been in that box.

I have seen lots of quartz, and they are so beautiful
I used to assemble circuit boards and for awhile I repaired cable boxes. If there was no sound I had to check the clear quartz Crystal on the circuit board. On a circuit board it is in a metal casing and vibrates at 16 hz inside that casing. If the oscilloscope didn’t read within tolerance of 16hz then I had the replace the quartz Crystal and then run the test again. And most likely that fixed the no sound problem if not I had to give it to a tech more experienced then me to trouble shoot the problem. But yeah clear quartz is on a lot of circuit boards in technology

Healing aspect of crystals is also something I’m learning about. M fascination with crystals started as a young child and has blossomed into a healthy hobby for me as a recovering addict. If I won a crystal It would really mean a lot to me spiritually and emotionally. I noticed my quartz Crystal necklace “pendent” glowing in the middle of the night. Like a small sphere with an incredibly bright white beam of light. Like light from a crack through the blinds of a window only there was no light coming through the window. Is this normal????
