I was expecting some guidance on how to start from scratch. But this was just a word play about what is meditation without telling anything on how to start.

Trying to meditate is contradiction of what meditation means.
To meditate, sit still and close your eyes. Do nothing . This is the first step.
You are so arrogant to start your ‘speech’ with ‘sudddenly, people who have never meditated in their lives’ …… Why, if you are so good, start with telling negative things about people? Why don’t you just shut up about ‘bad’ people and just talk about the good and divine people as you are, yourself? As you think you are?

So basically what sadhguru tries to convey is , meditation is not an activity, its a state. So what he means by that is you stay detached from all the consequences of your activities. Its experiencing life from inside and not from outside physical experiences. A person can have his/her eyes opened, be untouched with the things happening around for 24/7 and this is the real meaning of meditation.

Thank you sadhguru for all the knowledge and wise things the teachings you share with us. Today is Sunday . I was very upset . didn’t want to do any thing. I turned on the you tube . Where you were talking about your book karma. After listening to the explanation of karma. You changed my thoughts of negativity. I am thankful. And wish to see you someday or maybe have your books with me .i live in benton ar. If you are ever in this area i need to know.
