Calcite crystal is colorless transparent most probably found in Iceland. So its name is Iceland spar. Chemically its name is calcium carbonate. It belongs to rohombohedral class of a hexagonal system. Hexagonal system is a combination of six parallelogram each become parallelogram with an angle 109 degree and 78 degree. then there are two opposite corner at which three axies are meet and makes an equal angle 109 degree
