Love aquamarine. What a beautiful stone. But… Queen Elizabeth has a tiara ( I believe its part of a suite of jewels – necklace, earrings, etc) that is loaded with aquamarine and, to me, it looks garrish. Has anyone seen it?
How much do aquamarine gems run in dollars, per CT. Anyone??
Aquamarine is my birthstone, and I MUCH prefer the untreated stones with the green tint in the blue. I find them much more striking and pretty than the heated blue stones that are in vogue now. The untreated blue/green stones are hard to find, though. To me, the heated, all-blue Aquamarine is not as pretty unless you can afford to spend LOTS of money….LOTS of money. In addition, in my opinion, the heated blue Aquamarine can’t hold a candle to the Blue Topaz birth stone of December. Now, THAT is a gorgeous blue, and you don’t have to spend a fortune to get an amazing, deep color. I wish it was March’s stone, I may never find an Aquamarine that I like.
Hello, I am a new subscriber, thank you for the great video. How long does it take for an Aquamarine to form (minimum growth age?)
BERYL: EMERALD, MORGANITE, AQUA AND MUCH, MUCH MORE! YIPPPPEE!
Would have been nice to know more about the color, locations found, and things of that nature.
hence aqua marine gemstone can be found in sea?
HERE’S A FUNNSY STORY: I HAVE A PAIR OF SILVER REARRINGS. THEY HAVE SMALL, CLEAR BRIOLETTES CLEAR BROWN AT THE BOTTOMS. HOWEVER, WHEN THE OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE IS HIGH ABOVE 80 DEGREES, THE STONES TURN AS DARK BLUE AS YOUR SHIRT!!!! HOW ABOUT THAT? WHAT AT ARE THEY?
Im new here and looking for info about aquamarine. I have emerald, ruby, and sapphire but im looking for other gemstone. My emerald has a bit of inclusions but i love the green color. Blue topaz is beautiful but i prefer aquamarine. Is aquamarine a rare and considered precious stone?
How we can differenciate
Isvit white topaz or crystal or corendum?
Am I the only one who likes the untreated sea-foam colored stones? The problem I have with blue aquamarine is the similarity in color to topaz. I also think the astounding clarity is shown to best advantage when there is a balance between blue and green. BTW, I loved the video.
Can it be charged in water or sun?
If you have one do a video for Topaz!
May ebinta akong ruby
So informative.
God bless you bro i wish i could join you and learn under your umbrella.

Very good explanations and informations.
In my book you are a "NOT Your Average Jeweler"!
I’ve treasure hunted (quite literally) for over a year to find an untreated aquamarine stone which is certified to be at least VVS quality. I much prefer the greenish bluish color over the lighter, more sky blue topazish version. I wish there were more untreated stones so people can decide for themselves in the end which version they prefer.
It’s such a beautiful gemstone.
I’ve previously commented about my inherited "synthetic diamond" that I suspect to be a cubic zirconia, but I’ve also once been given a sizeable aquamarine that I kind of suspect of being coloured glass, so when I take the "diamond" to be checked out next week I’ll bring the aquamarine as well.
As neither has cost me anything I won’t be angry if I’m told they’re both worthless – and I might get both set as lapel pins anyway since they’re pretty and have stories.
But learning more about what they’re *supposed* to be has been interesting. And who knows? Maybe not all tall tales are untrue? (Though they most likely are…)
What’s it worth per carat?
Aquamarine is my birthstone and a gem that I don’t own. If you buy one with a good color it’s terribly expensive. I do plan to buy one, maybe a pair of earrings.
Thanks for sharing your ideas about my birthstone. Very distinct and clear explanation… Perfect, excellent, very good… GOD bless you always…
I’ll own my birthstone when I’ve won the lottery and can afford the all natural sea green color. So expensive!! Last one I saw was in a simple pendant and priced $34K.
Blue color emerald
Good to know re: presence of green as being possible not heat treated. Thanks.
nice
Amazing
Great info, thank you! Aquamarine is my favorite gemstone.
I was wondering why you didn’t show pictures of the different colors( sources) that Aqua’s come in!

Your content is excellent! There is no need to so frequently ask for likes and subscriptions.
I was surprised to learn that aquamarine comes in such large crystals. Fascinating, and I am one who really likes a bit of green in my aquamarines.
Thanks for sharing this video… Very informative…
how are you sir
YEAH. LOVE AQUAMARINE!
How about Moss Aquamarine? The gemstone is still the same but comes in various shades of yellow, mossy green and deeper blues? What is that about? And Milky Aquamarine is often cloudy BUT some are a medium blue, & I am guessing without heat treatment. Why, how are these two variations so different from the Aquamarine you addressed here?? I enjoy your YouTube gem school. Love geodes.
OH! OH! TRAPAICHE EMERALDS….
