Stop. Teaching. People. to. Play. BOGGLES. NO ONE LIKES YOU FOR IT.
why do you have a league score on the top right but only play in queues?? seems a bit misleading, no?
He was not using bruteโs ability to not be blocked except by creatures with haste nearly enough this video…
Good build GREAT matches.
If KSD returns in Zendikar the 3rd, a Standard build of this could be equally as interesting!
Why didnt play Lurrus?
Iโm not very good at modern but are enchantments like ghostly prison and the like good in this deck?
Why no Daybreak Coronet? At $60 you should have enough in the budget to include.
This deck is great in Historic too! Absolutely rolls ramp decks and is decent against goblins (aside from nut turn 3 Muxus). After the bannings it may not be as good because it was a free win against ramp decks.
come on seth…. you know the answer is always "Make them have it"
While seemingly simple, this deck requires making a lot of good decisions and won’t be near as strong with a lesser pilot. That’s compared to Tron, which depends on little else other than luck. For example, there were several times that you held off on growing a creature to try to lessen the impact of removal when another player might’ve gone all in. And your choice to chump with the Spirit Dancer (every Timmy’s favorite card in an aura deck) at the end was counterintuitive to many players. Well done, but I think it’s also fair to see your abilities as a player lent a great deal of power to this deck.
That poor dredge player losing to you twice. *laughs*
I had to go back and look, but yep, same guy
Now this is budget! About time ! 200 Tix and up is not budget! FYI
spiritlink doesnt give lifelink o0 that would have lost me a game
Daybreak coronet ? I mean, Ok this is not the cheapest card in the world but the value is worth the cost.
At 58:12 did op not have lethal or am I missing something??
I LOVE budget modern
40:58 ‘Tron!" as nemesis not unlike ‘Khan!!!!’
At 6:38 Seth makes a grunt like Steve from Minecraft lol
Nice deck, I’ve been playing with Auras in Standard, and the best you have for card draw is Season of Growth (also Setessan Champion if you are not on the Lurrus plan) and it is a fun deck to play.
Opp in last game of game 5 could have chumped the Gingerbrute with Bloodghast as it had haste. If they manage to Loam the Blast Zone that turn then they blow you out and basically win.
Regardless, awesome games! (that mull to 3 into turn 3 Tron was monkaS)
Yes the deck seems pretty sweet but why just not play a budget version of bogles instead? I mean there is probably a reason bogles being a high tier deck and this not
seems like an upgrade from pauper mono w heroics. sweet.
โOh itโs ELDRAZI tron…โ -Seth, every time he plays against eldrazi tron
Why on thin ice instead of path?
That second dredge player had you dead on board in the first game because spirit link is a triggered ability haha it was a double player punt both players missed that
dude blow your nose!!!
Awesome man, just bought the deck! Although my budget was 50 flat, so I had to make it basic plains, which means I swapped On Thin Ice for Journey to Nowhere… I also had to cut the sideboard entirely but nonetheless, great vid and thanks for a new fun deck!
if this deck goes nonbudget lurrus is free
Mono-White Auras? Seth, you’re not fooling anyone! These are Bogleless Bogles ๐
First you play Tron and now this. You’ve changed man… XD XD XD
Would Daybreak Coronet be good in this deck? Or is it the bogles player within me speaking?
That triple plains killed my entire family
I love how you activate Gingerbrute’s ability at 1:03:17, even though the one untapped creature your opponent controlled not only had haste anyway, but already couldn’t block due to its own ability
6:37 Minecraft oof
Is it just me or is Dredge an opponent in every single Modern-Vid?
Am I missing something from Game 2 in the Tron matchup? If he Spirit Mantle’s Kor wouldn’t it have protection from creatures? Isn’t Flagship an artifact "creature"? I know the chances of winning are low but still felt like giving up.
Daybreak coronet is way off budget right? I love that Aura and not seeing it here makes me a bit sad ๐
I wonder what kind of cards i would change for a non-budget on the same thematic. ๐ฎ
34:30 you could deal exactly 8 dmg and win on the spot cause All that Glittets also counts artifacts
Brilliant deck Seth glad to see a deck like this get played
Mana Tithe would have been cheeky ๐
Cheepest modern deck ever
Spirit loop is better than spiritlink
โNow that weโre drawing three, hopefully we wonโt whiff!โ -Seth (probably better known as SaffronOlive)
Lol true, just act like they have no outs sometimes they’ll just read your confidence and be like "darn I guess I’m screwed"
Thoughts on Sentinel’s Eyes over the Cartouche? Good discard target and can be cast from GY to draw?
Who on earth plays modern
cocaine is a hell of a drug
I still think Pithing Needle needs to see more play in general >.>
1:02:31 Wouldn’t have All That Glitters have been lethal there?
What would you change to upgrade it a little bit ( total cost around 90-125$)?
Rip seems really good in this decks sb not sure if it wasn’t in for budget or nah
