oh also, I’ve done transcendantal med. (TM) before and the mantras are actually not words that you’d understand (at least not in TM) but they’re sounds that repeat through ancient vedic scriptures. It’s the mere action of a repeating sound that matters (like focusing on just breathe)

Could someone explain my cousin Shamil it is enough. I am mentally tired and it’s enough pain already. He uses nlp hypnosis maybe astral techniques or runes. It’s just… His words and weird commentaries when I say it’s enough and they should stop: It’s never enough. she can’t no more, but she can. The butter out the the little ass.

Awesome video! I understand the nature of a sponsorship but not sure how moving psychedelic images help focus – I’d think the attention should be directed towards a steady form/image to overcome the desire to jump into other thoughts.. I feel like with a moving image, it’s cheating because every frame is different and you’re already giving your mind the candy bar 🙂 I’d like to hear others’ opinions, I may be making this up :p

Could someone please close my legs or my feet they are circling three meters away. The guy has really big legs in comparison to mine. I just can’t take pain anymore. And this is quite painful. I will be very grateful. I don’t have energy anymore to fight. Theyve been circling my hips my anus the knees the top of my head. I feel really sick.

I dont understand why in mindfulness breathing meditation u have open awarness where u watch your thought and feeling and with focus attention meditation u dont. Cause if in mindfulness breathing u think notice and come back to the breathing the same thing happen with focus attention meditation; u notice the thinking and come back to the focus object.

  32. Rursus on October 18, 2021 at 10:04 am

Mantra meditation and meta meditation as described is one and the same thing. Real mantra meditation has another purpose: to make the focus process preoccupied by the mantra, while background processes are brought to the conscious and then released.

Improvement Pill Some really useful information here. Thanks for sharing it I like the distinctions you’ve made between a focus meditation and mindfulness of breath meditation. It is true that the ultimate goal of a mindfulness style meditation is to notice, to notice when the attention is resting on the object and more importantly, when it’s not. That is the mindful quality. A point of clarification though I thought you might find useful though in your categorization. Open Awareness meditations, at least according to the great non-dual meditation traditions, are not considered mindfulness meditations. All mindfulness meditations in essence ask us to use an object of focus to bring the mind into a place of calm and stillness. Open awareness practice, according to these non-dual traditions, rely on no object of focus. You simply rest in the present moment and as the present moment. In Dzogchen, one of the Tibetan Buddhist non-dual traditions, this type of open awareness mediation is often referred to as non-meditation. This isn’t the same as not meditating, in which my monkey mind were wandering freely all over the place, rather it is a resting in a non-distracted and natural awareness that is free open and ever-present. The non-distraction of non-meditation is not produced or created in the way that non-distraction is produced in all the other types of meditation you mentioned. The difference is subtle but profound. It is the simplest and easiest form of meditation, but it also the most challenging for reasons I won’t go into here.
